John Dykzeul
John Dykzeul, Velocity Courier Service

Mr. John S. Dykzeul, a Southern California native, started out in the international document delivery industry in 1981. He was transferred to San Francisco in 1985, to start a Northern California operation for Kastelan Courier Service. Mr. Dykzeul enjoyed ten successful years at Kastelan, managing more than ten employees.

On February 1, 1995, he formed Velocity Courier Service as a Sole Proprietership. Mr. Dykzeul worked hard building a loyal customer base with superior customer service and his personal attention to detail. In the latter part of 2005, he was approached by Gravco Services, a key competitor in the courier business. After 35 years in business, Mr. Grassa, owner of Gravco Services, was ready for retirement.

Velocity Courier Service became incorporated on March 20, 2006, and officially acquired Gravco Services on May 5, 2006. The acquisition makes Velocity Courier Service, Inc., the largest Courier Service in the entire Bay Area, servicing over 90% of the import/export industry. Velocity Courier Service, Inc. now has more than 20 employees, and 16 vehicles.
